Cinderella
A baroque comedic operetta
Cendrillon (1759) by Jean-Louis Laruette is the earliest musical setting of the Cinderella story with its beloved fairy godmother, magic wand, and glass slippers. AFM is excited to partner with UAA to stage this funny, yet heartfelt one-act operetta. All songs and dialog will be performed in English with period baroque instruments, including a full-sized harpsichord, on stage.
