From the quills of babes…
Musical prodigies of the 18th century
While Mozart’s early musical ability is legendary, this concert will open your ears to other incredible musical prodigies. Discover music written by the teenaged Handel who had to hide his skills from a disapproving father. Meet the lesser known yet amazing violinist/composer Pasquale Bini, whose virtuosity allegedly caused an older colleague to die from inadequacy.
Performance time: 90 minutes with short intermission.
